Still Sick -- So I'm Gonna Post Another Entry!

So, I'm still sick today. Wohoo. Sore throats are the new black, didn't you hear? Better go and get one -- wouldn't want to get caught being demode now, would we?

My stylus is still missing for my Wacom. I spent a good deal of time yesterday looking at new tablets online, on the Wacom site. I've narrowed it down to two; I'm considering either a Small Bamboo Fun (in bright blue!) or a 4x6 Intuos (which only comes in grey). The only difference between them is about a hundred bucks. The Intuos is supposed to be for fine art, while the bamboo is basically supposed to be for everything -- but since I work on a laptop anyways, which already provides me with a great deal of control given the touch pad, the only thing I'd be using the tablet for is art anyways. (Though how 'fine' the art actually is, is really up for debate. I'd be one of the ones on the "not so fine" side.) I'll probably just end up going to Future Shop (because they're supposed to have both models in stock, according to their website) and badger them until they hook them up to a computer so that I can give them a test-run. I mean, if I'm, potentially, going to be spending ~$200 on a tablet, then you'd damn well better believe that I'm not going to buy it sight unseen, and stylus unfelt.

But moving on.

Some of the modeling I did under a week ago is up on Gloomth already! (I am totally in love with their new waist cinchers/overskirts. Eee.)

The whole shoot was completely ridiculous, but in a kind of fun way. It was basically a mad dash to get as many shots done as we could before we all froze to death, in between stuffing heating packs in our bras, pockets, and anywhere else they might fit. It was below freezing in the building because it had been abandoned for 10+ years by now. I can tell you, cold concrete really sucks up cold. It was actually a relief to get back outside, into the wind, because it wasn't such a deep cold as we'd been subjected to inside.

I think I did a fair job on the pictures, though; I don't look all that frozen when I'm posing. For the most part, anyways.

I snagged this one because I think it's absolutely gorgeous. Everyone go buy lotsa stuff. Right nao.

I especially love how the "washroom" letters above the big doorway there have flipped around so that it looks like it's proclaiming "mushroom". Bahaha. Abandoned buildings are such fun.

There are also some fun shots of me in the bathroom, and in the mysterious room which I've affectionately named the Toilet Graveyard. Seriously. There were just ailing and broken toilets everywhere. So I got to pose in the middle of them. Whee.

Don't I look just absolutely thrilled? (Hey, it could have been worse. I could have been grabbing my breasts in every other shot.)

I'm thrilled that we're going to be going back there in the spring, when it's warmer. I'm definitely excited to explore that place some more, maybe play a bit with all the broken mirrors in the strip club part -- though they might be cleaned up by then.

And don't forget to check out Derek's Website, because he was a ninja and tracked me down. There are some pretty sweet pictures of me up on there too. You know, just in case you're not sick of me already. :)

Kiss kiss! x0x0    <-- God, Aren't I pretentious?

Comments

I'm watching the cartoon "Rejected".

That fact has absolutely nothing to do with your post.

Yet I replied thusly anyways.

That's how I roll.
